2019 Walk To End Alzheimer’s Denver, Colorado

Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s® is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. This inspiring event calls on participants of all ages and abilities to join the fight against the disease! Juniper Village at Aurora made over 800 delicious fresh berry parfaits for the people who attended the walk. As they came to our booth for their parfait, they received a Juniper Dog bandanna, Juniper Bag, and water bottle. Many attendees were holding Promise Garden Flowers which represent the following: Orange (I support the cause and a vision of a world without Alzheimer’s) Yellow ( I support or care for someone with Alzheimer’s) Purple (I have lost someone to Alzheimer’s disease) Blue (I have Alzheimer’s disease). Together, we can end Alzheimer’s!
