You might remember that we recently featured resident Beatrice Kreider for making blankets for Third World countries. While that is certainly a worthy activity, recent events have caused her to switch gears and make “ear savers” for our Juniper Village at Lebanon staff and other residents, who find wearing face masks to be uncomfortable sometimes when the mask is too tight. These ear savers, which are made out of crochet cotton, which she normally uses to make dishcloths, really come in handy. They live up to their name of saving our ears!  Several other residents joined in the project by sewing on buttons and sorting buttons to find appropriate sizes and matches. Thanks to everyone who is pitching in to make life a little bit more comfortable for everyone during these challenging times!
