February is all about the hearts (and not just on Valentine’s Day)

Juniper Village at Bucks joined the entire nation in The Go Red for Women National Wear Red Day on February 7. Residents, staff members and visitors to the community wore red to support the eradication of heart and cardiovascular disease. The American Heart Association is America’s largest and oldest voluntary organization dedicated to fighting heart disease and stroke. February is American Heart Month, and while we think about those we share our lives with on Valentine’s Day, it is vital to elevate the importance of remaining heart healthy through our lives. The Go Red for Women campaign empowers women to take action to lower their risk for cardiovascular disease, which remains the #1 killer for women nationwide. Juniper saw a splash of red across our community as we celebrated the hearts we all love while striving to save and improve lives by raising awareness.
