Did you know that 1 in 8 women will develop breast cancer over the course of their lifetime? And in 2019, over 268,600 men and women in the United States were diagnosed with breast cancer? October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

On Thursday, October 1st Juniper Village at Forest Hills kicked off the month with a breast cancer awareness presentation by business office manager, Karen Greenawalt.

Every Friday throughout the month, residents and associates are encouraged to show their support for breast cancer awareness by wearing pink.
