Not even COVID-19 can keep our residents from visiting with their loved ones. As you know, Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment has issued an order restricting visitors at all Colorado Skilled Nursing Facilities, Assisted Living Residences and Intermediate Care Facilities. Keeping our resident’s health and well-being in mind, we thought about new ways for our families to visit. On this beautiful morning, we asked our visitors to call in and visit their loved ones through a window. They were thrilled to see and speak with each other “face to face” while practicing social distancing. It was reassuring to both our residents and their visitor. We are also arranging visits via FaceTime to keep our families close.
