We have closely been following Governor Jared Polis’s recommendations regarding visitation and group activities in Colorado assisted living communities for months. Last week we got the good word – small group activities are allowed with proper use of face masks and social distancing at Lakewood Reserve.

With social engagement being such an important part of life at Juniper, we instead prefer to use the term – physical distancing. Throughout the pandemic we have maintained proper physical distancing, but have also maintained social connections with virtual engagement as well as one-on-one activities. Now with this important announcement from Governor Polis, we have begun our “physically distant” small group activities, and oh how sweet it is!
