During these trying times, Juniper staff are working to facilitate visits while our doors must remain closed. How may this happen? The Connections Team has been utilizing video call apps such as FaceTime and Google Duo to facilitate virtual visits with our residents and their loved ones. While some of our residents may have their own devices, we are able to provide the technology on our end and assist with how to navigate the apps to call their families. While nothing can take the place of spending time together in person, these video visits offer another great way for families to stay in touch and remain connected. Some families have also been doing “window visits” if they are still looking for a way to physically see their loved one. Families and residents alike have been enjoying these alternative visits so far! Families who are interested in a virtual visit but have not yet scheduled a time are encouraged to call and speak to Renee.
